We are seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Program Manager 

Day Shift - 8 hours - 11am-7pm

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Program Manager reports to the Social Services Director and is responsible for Managing and Directing all Mental Health Tech’s (MHT) as well as coordinating the safety training for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $55,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Yr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Manages and coordinates all CPI training for staff.
2. Schedules, trains, orients, and supervises the MHTs, Front desk, and Admissions desk staff as needed.
3. Reviews and uploads documentation, and helps educate staff as needed.
4. Works with Admissions to make sure co-morbid patients are placed in the appropriate rooms.
5. Joins and attends IDT meetings with Case Management and any other meetings as directed.
6. Responsible for coordinating shift-change huddles.
7. Reviews staffing and sitter assignments.
8. Helps coordinate contraband checks, room searches, and related education.
9. Supports and guides MHT staff on maintaining a therapeutic environment and helping with group activities.
10. Teams up with Nursing to coordinate and supervise patient transports
11. Manages the Co-morbid MHT Groups and patients getting to and out of group.
12. Helps to transport patients to and from Dayhab.
13. Works with the Social Services team to assist patients in attending court hearings and L2k status.
14. Responsible for managing and directing staff on assignments and for PTO off and works with the scheduler to ensure coverage.
15. Coordinates coverage with the admission desk and front desk for after hours.
16. Ensure Security of the property and rounds routinely (internally and externally)

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Prior education in the Behavioral Health or Social Services field preferred.

Experience: Prior experience working with behavioral patients preferred and experience in managing employees is required.

License: Must have a current license to practice profession in state. 

Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Must have reliable transportation.
